Sultans stumbles and Veerans are victors

phl.jpgVeeran’s were braver than Sultans. Just when Devesh Chauhan seemed as archive thing for people who follow hockey, he was pulled from a hat and was given the duty to guard Hyderabad Sultan’s fort, Sultans burdened by their high of first year and high profile of second were caught of wrong foot by Veerans and their captain Adam Sinclair, his two goals took Sultans 4-1 down, clearly it was Adam’s eve.  Veerans was better than Devesh Chauhan in the 49th and 50th minutes after Vikram and Suresh Kumar had put the Veerans 2-0 up by the 38th minute, When Sultan wake up their most of the property was lost, not learning a lesson from Indian history A late strike by Vikram Pillay two minutes from close was no consolation. Sultans just like Indian team were lost in the mid-field and let Veerans discover their goal scoring capabilities.
